Rotating Shaft Assembly for Model B Distributor
1932 to 1934 Ford Model B Distributor Centrifugal Advance Rotating Assembly comes completely assembled. This is a Model B part, complete with new bushings. This unit is set up to provide 26 to 28 degrees advance at 2,000 RPM, making it more compatible with today's fuel than the 14 to 16 degrees at 3,000 RPM provided by the stock advance. (If you have a Model B timing cover on your engine, it will not indicate true TDC (Top Dead Center) of your engine - this can be misleading when you are setting your timing. (Model A timing cover does indicate TDC).
The Model B Distributor's spring tension plate is not used with this unit due to clearance problems.
This unit will not fit a Model A housing.

FSI installation of the Rotating Shaft Assembly includes bead-blasting housing, installing new bushings and align-reaming them, painting of housing, and testing on distributor machine. We will install and set points and condenser (furnished by you) if you desire.
